Korda Sinkers |
Korda Sinkers

Korda Sinkers are a tungsten hooklength weight that are designed to slide onto your hook link and pin it to the lake bed to keep your hooklength out of the way. Fitting is quite straightforward, place your hook link material through one of the Sinker sections and slide the weight on. Far less likely to come off on the cast than putty is. They are available in two sizes and two colours to complement the existing safezone colours.

Ultima Power Shockleader |
Ultima Power Shockleader

This is Ultima's first attempt at making a shock leader and it looks like they've got it spot-on. It is highly abrasion resistant, has a low diameter and is very supple. All in this should benefit distance fishing as will be easier to cast having a low diameter. Being flourocarbon coated it is also pretty much invisible in water. It is currently available in 25lb and 30lb breaking strains.

ATTs Bite Alarms |
Brand new bite alarms from Advanced Technology Tackle

These brand new alarms are quite unique, they have no controls and no inbuilt speaker, instead relying on a receiver to give audible bite indication. This allows for a very compact design, in fact the alarm is only around 6cm high.
According to the manufacturer since there are no external controls/connectors they are 100% waterproof, the body is rubberised plastic and the indicator is permanently on, so all you need to do is drop your rod on top and you're reasdy to go
Expect to pay in the region of £70 per alarm and £100 for the receiver
