Re: Binding for bait

Have a look at some of these

Fishing Tackle - Nutrabaits Liquid Foods

The nutramino is worth a look, also that shop has a large selection of bait ingredients.

Re: Binding for bait

i'm not too clued up with pastes but for groundbaits it always seems to give good results if you can cloud up the water a little. I tend to use something like, sweetcorn, red dyed breadcrumb, betaine or corn steep liquor, prepared hemp and a tin or two of tuna in oil and some broken or mini-boilies. I'm also told that liver pate works well in groundbait mixes.

With that mix, you get a good release of attractors from the tuna oil, the oils in the hemp and the breadcrumb will do a good job of clouding the water up nicely and hopefully drive the fish down to feed, there is some obvious visual attraction there too from the sweetcorn and broken boilies.

Hope this helps

yes mate.

you can also add egg albumen and boil for harder baits, this will toughen the baits and make them a little more cray proof etc etc.

hope this helps mate.
