Pointless session accessories

I didnt realise how pointless some accessories are, or how many things some people will buy that they probably dont need, came across these earlier:

A toilet roll holder and another accessory, in this day and age though a lot of larger fisheries provide toilet facilities so having a in the bushes is getting less common now.

Tobacco pouch to hold your baccy, papers etc etc. I normally make do with an old tobacco tin and put my lighter in my pocket

Re: Pointless session accessories

I was just reading how pointless some of fishing stuff is. Lets just say I thought women were fussy and needed a whole lot of pointless stuff. So i've decided to put a list together of what men DON'T need when they go fishing. Lets see now.

1) A huge bag to put a few knifes, forks, plates, food etc....
2) A bait bag for different smelly foods for the fish.
3) An unbrella that never gets used.
4) About 6 rods for just one person.
5) My favourite, 2 boxes of fishing equipment that half of it never gets used.

Come on guys no wonder why men buy a barrow or just ask the women to go with them.

Oh and what about things that men can never leave or do without:

You guest it a WOMEN to hopefully do the cooking and make the Tea's or coffee.

Jellybean (Toms wife).

Re: Pointless session accessories

Hahaha

I think I need to get our super moderator here to ban my wife from the forums I've already told her "I wear the trousers Gemma", the only problem is i have to wash and iron them too

Actually, its more like this "Gemma, wake up you got one on"........"snore..snore..snore..snore...."nevermi nd, i'll hit it meself"

Anyways, she has actually got a point, i think many of us are probably guilty of taking way too much tackle than is really neccessary at times, I take a bag with around 20 different pots of boilies, bags of pellets, hemp and god knows what else, two tackle boxes, rods, spod rod, marker rod, brolly if im only doing a day or bivvy and bedchair + char as well if im doing an overnighter.
