what set?!

hi all,

im still quite new to the whole carp fishing scene, mainly used to sea fishing before so its a whole new game for me. i have been using some bits that have been passed down over the years so its all looking a bit worn. it has done me well over the past few months but i think its time for an upgrade, i was looking at a set in the argos catalogue, it was £200 for quite a bit of stuff from keenets. i was wondering if anyone has used any of this or knows a better set up to get, its almost like a starter kit bivvy rods etc etc....any help would be great.

would stay well clear, i went cheap and chearful at first and ended up replaceing most of in the first year. would have a look around the forum and see what people are using and what they recommend before going out and buying any tackle.

i bought quite alot off ebay if your familair with it. if you do your homework you can pick up some right bargins. used or new gear you will find it all there.

yeah that would be great, i have a tackle shop just a few minutes from my house. they have given me alot of help that has been great, they dont have a great selection of rods etc though. i only want light gear as i like to have a bit of play and not just use heavy carp gear and bully them in
