Re: Method Mixes
I have been using Vitalin dog food with just a few pellets and sweet corn added it cheap and works really well.

Re: Method Mixes
Hi Gemo, how do you prepare the Vitalin to get it to bind round the method feeder.

Re: Method Mixes
Vitalin just needs soaking, i tend to soak mine over night and do not drain the water out. i do a vitalin based spod mix called the virgin mix at ST Baits, sole supplier of puds! baits - boilies, pop ups, groundbait, pellets, paste, particles, bait boats, terminal tackle, pva, fishing bait. i add a few extra ingrediants and also some secrects, It's caugh me alot of fish this year.

Re: Method Mixes
Hi Carpbagger
To prep Vitalin simply place the Vitalin into a large ground bait bucket and add a liitle water keep on adding until the mix goes soft you will know what I mean when you do it, Leave to stand for a while and check the mix again. Then when it is ready (sticky and binds well, about 10mins) ball up and fire out into the lake and not foregtting add to your method feeder and cast out into the lake. Tight lines bloke. |
