For the £60 price tag (approximate) you wouldnt expect too much of these rods, well lets just say that 2 of us now own a set of these and were pleasantly surprised by the build quality of these rods, firstly the rod has full SiC guides throughout which is fairly unusual of a carp rod retailing at this price and the screw-down reel seat looks to be good quality. The carbon blank used looks to be pretty good quality and this is reflected in the 'feel' of the rod, it has a one-piece EVA handle which I must admit I perfer to the abbreviated handles. Havnt found any downsides to this rod yet, I have the 2 3/4 TC and Joe has the 3 1/4 TC and both have pretty similar action which is very surprising as you'd normally expect a higher TC carp rod to be slightly stiffer but the feeling is pretty much the same with both rods
