Float Rod

Hi all, can you guys recommend a float rod that is capable of landing those double figure carp when they bite, was thinking of something around 1 to 11/2 lbs tc, all thru action lower end price range. Thanks.

Re: Float Rod

Hi Carpbagger I think you have almost answered your own question but here is my ten pence worth. A float rod with such power would be usually a specialist bit of kit with little attraction to the mas audiences and therefore would normally hold a high end price.
Things like the Dreman Super specialist rod would fit the bill but again it is not cheap.

i myself am a fan of the drennan specialist style rods and have one of these....fantastic rod and worth every penny.

drennan rods,drennan rods,drennan float rods,drennan feeder rods,drennan puddle chucker,drennan series 7 rods,drennan pellet waggler,drennan match pro rods,float rods,feeder rods,method rods,drennan barbel rods

can be found a little cheaper, i have the 12ft carp waggler version. its lovely to play fish on and its almost better looking than kylie. i use it for fishing for rudd, roach, bream, tench and carp and is perfectly suited to all and have landed double figure carp on 2.5 lb hooklengths.

dream of an all round rod.
