Diffcult to say. The Greys Platimum 13' 3.5tc take a lot of compressing. but they should be good for around 160-170 yards or so.

Crafty mate come and have a chuck with them before you dive in mate you might find them not suitable ?.

When I brought the Platimum I already had some Century 3.5 NG's so I though that the new rods would be like then. WRONG the Platimums are very stiff and unforgiving for me when I am use to using NG's. But they might suit you mate

I was told the infinity's in 3.5lb are really forgiving

I have the chub outkasts in 3lb TC and there quite unforgiving compared with most other wands... I think grays in general are quite stiff

When you need to play big fish through HUGE clumps of weed you really do need that extra umph

I would have a chuck with them but I don't really stray to far due to transport But if your fishing any place near me then tell me and I'll come down

OK mate I will come to you harlow in Essex you need to get us on a water where we have 250 -350 yards of clear casting in case of crack offs.
