Re: Rods

stalking rod.

s1 stealth by century will take some beating, a very nice rod and wished i got chance to get out the quiver more often.

fishing rods under £100

the list is huge,

but the best rod under £100 is the tfg x-series. you may struggle to find them still. but well worth the look.

generally the tfg range of rods are very very under-rated.

fox every single time mate without a second thought.

i have owned the flagship range of the grey carp rods, namely the platinums.

and there was a lot left to be desired, would hate to see what poor quality there lesser/lower range rod are like.

cheap carbon blanks produced in china.

and with the lifetime garantee, well, take it from me all your doing is paying for a new section, (£50)so in reality they aint doing you a favour.

just replacing a cheap section with a cheap section.

greys know there sections will break and that why they offer this service.

Re: Rods

That said, im looking to upgrade from my ESP Paragons (which have been excellent for the last few years) currently in the market for a couple of new 12ft rods, have been considering a few options with a budget of £250 max per rod, currently considering Century Armalite Mk III's with the SS reelseats, Greys Platinum.
