Spod Rods

Hello,

I'm thinking for some time to buy a spod rod, but I can't decide which one would be the one for me.
I need to be able to put spods up to 120-130 meters out because that's the distance i fish on some lakes I go. It would be a shame not to be able to reache those spots with my spod rod.

I have a few spod rods in my mind:
1. Fox Horizon distance spod
2. Grey's Distance Spod
3. Free Spirit LR
4. Harrison Heavy Spod, but this one is a little over the budget.

What do you think, have you ever used one of these?

Thanks,
Stefan

Distance spod by grays

130 meters is a cracking distance! You considered a bait about or are they banned?

the free sprirt lrs is a beast of a tool if your able to compress it correctly mate.

also the bruce ashby rocketeer is a top class spod rod and i'm ordering 2 very soon. there not as expensive as you may think, about the same as most middle-upper range rods.

defo worth a look mate.

Another vote for the Greys distance spod rod. Just a quick note these rods really do require you to be a very good caster to get the best from them.
Greys offer an unconditional warrenty on there rods. For me this is a great feature I have managed to rip off three eyes from my Greys distance spod with silly braid wind knots. I dont think the others offer the same service
