Best Buy Ive Made For A Long Time!!

The gardener Suspender

Amazing peice of tackle for floater fishing making so many more takes due the fish not being scared off by line.

i tested it out at bishops bowl lakes and took 18 fish smallest 8.5LBS over a 24hour session..

Minted

Nice, might have to get one of those

Was over at armigers for a few hours before the heavy rain kicked in had about 6 nice carp off the top and a couple of commons in the 14lb region off the bottom, spent more time watching them trying to eat the fox bubble float than the bread though although you could clearly see that the wily old carp were pretty clued up to this it was mainly the smaller fish that went thundering in there, the older boys hung back until i'd got them all feeding confidently.

Re: Best Buy Ive Made For A Long Time!!

I've even resorted tolaying over a low hanging branch in the past and i was a fair bit lighter on my toes then, if i tried it now it'd probably result in a splash.

I'm currently experimenting at making my own surface controllers for carp fishing A-LA-BLUE PETER style with drinking straws and sticky back plastic, seriously though I had an idea the other day and im currently working on it.

Re: Best Buy Ive Made For A Long Time!!

I use X-line... it's a flurocarb mainline and it sinks like a brick... I use it for fishing slack lines running rigs in the winter because it doesn't spook the fish

In the summer I use it as a leader because it a flurocarbon it's almost invisable and it sink so you cant see it on the water surface... if you couple this with a floating mainline (daiwa sensor lubed with vasaline) then your set for a good session!

I managed 2 pasties of 9lbish a 15.2lb almost linear and a 20.2lb mirror in a few hours on my local HAPPY DAYS!
