Re: Korda End Tackle

Obviously you love spending all you time buying week hooks from Mr Gardner and then tieing up new rigs every cast ?. Well for some of us time is better spent fishing.
Why does easy avaliabillity of getting your fishing tackle make a difference !!!!!. Dooohhhh I have spent to long driving miles to find my favorite peice of kit and I have to say Yes I like to walk into any local or distant tackle shop and find a quaility peice of tackle on a board waiting to be put to good use.

I get the feeling you have a real issue with Korda thats fine by me I have a great relationship with both companies and many other come to think of it, however I will always try a put forward a considered balanced opinion and veiw on a subject, and spending my working life using the tackle we are talking about I think makes me a whole lot more clued up and therefore able to answer questions than the average angler.

come on now ian, you and i both know that tying and hooklink takes no longer than 5 minutes. and we also know that a hooklink very very rarely comes back with a point dinked over. i for one can vouce that in the last 3 years i've been using muggas it hasn't happened, and if it did it wouldn't matter mate as i'd tie another up.

not entirely correct ian.

read my first post on the subject, you will note mixed appraisals, both positive and negitive. read on below. you will see a statement from somebody stating that certain items fantastic, hardly someone with a problem with korda.

there leaders are over priced and sink like a dog mixer. lol.

however, there drop zone marker floats are fantastic and i rate them as one of the best, a little prone to clogging in weed but hey ho, these fly like darts. top notch.

the krusha is also a very well thought out instrament.

i use korda leads for all my fishing that require a lead.

there range is good apart from the odd hook here and there and i class danny as a top bloke. he puts so much effort into the sport(partly business i know) introducting kids to the sport and these week long academies are an amazing idea.

he is a clever business man and i wish him all the best.

ian that last statement comes across as very self rightous mate and i know you from old and that isn't you.

Re: Korda End Tackle

Hi Carpcruncher
You have the jump on me as I feel no need to hide behind a sudo name on the internet.
I feel all of the answers I have given have been balnced and thought through with the backing of personnel experience. Hook tying does only take a short time in the day light in summer, at 3.00am on a winters night in temperatures down to -7 well yes it is a chore to me to tie up another rig cause the strait pointed hook ( sorry carpcruncher Muggers are strait pointed just thought you might like to know that) blunts all to easily on the smallest of lake bed debris.
It is your opinion what you think about my comments like it is your opinion about Mugger hooks I happen to disagree with you and that is my right to do so. Self rightous If you want thats up to you mate but I do happen to spend my working life with these products up close and persoonal week in week out and you cant argue with that !!!.
I will go through my tackle and post you all the packets of Muggers I have got as they are just gathering dust sat here in my workshop I will also ask Lewis at Gardner to look after you as you are obviously a great gardner fan LOL.

Tight Lines mate
