i see a few of the more expierenced carp anglers at my lake using leaders and just wondered basically what they do and whether u think they are better than rig tubing? and if u recommend them, what brand leader or tubing do u think is best?

Re: why use leaders
I personally use leadcore leaders, make my own using kryston score. I feel the advantage of a leader over the tubing is that the leader isnt quite as rigid as the tubing so it may follow the profile of teh lakebed better and look less obtrusive. I might have to get the test tank out and do a little experimenting with it
