New Syndicate Lake in France

For 2009 there is a new Carp Syndicate water opening to 60 members only. The lake is called Les Rivets and is 9 acres in size and is in the Yonne area of France, this being 4 and a half hours from Calais.

The lake is 14 feet deep at the dam end and 4ft in shallow end, the average depth is about 7 feet. There will be 12 swims, in which 6 of these will be doubles and all swims will be layed with gravel. There will be a hard path to all swims and shower blocks. There are two new newly built shower blocks, one built each side of the lake.

There will be 300 carp added in December this year by French Carp Supplies run by Neil Wilson. There size from 25ln to 52lb.

I have add some more information re the membership of the French lake.

The lake has not been fished for 7 years, so we have decided that the first week of October 2008 the lake is being drained down and netted to remove all under size fish and then we are adding another 300 Carp in November / December. The netting and fish stocking is being supplied by Neil Wilson of French Carp Supplies. The sizes of fish being stocked this year are:
These Carp are French Royals and have been chosen for their tone and colouring, using this strain we can expect fish under 40lbs to increase in weight by over 5lb's a year, the large fish will have a smaller growth rate but hopefull there will be a 60lb fish in the fishery within the first 3 years.

The stock of the lake:

60 x 20lbs , 100 x 25lbs , 95 x 30lbs , 30 x 38lbs , 5 x 40lbs 10 x 47lbs and 2 x 52lb

There are only 60 tickets available , Unlimited Fishing, Free Guests, Free Food

We will then email you at the being of September to see if you wish still to become a member.

Note : To members , the 4 bedroom house on the lake with swimming pool will be let to members at very reduced rates.
