Re: daiwa

Not heard much about them

If your looking to buy then Chub Outkasts and Nash Holigans are your best bet

Good rod both of them I know from experiance - Had LOADS of fish on the Outkasts and I abused them something cronic it broke eventually but the other one is still going strong

Re: daiwa

Mark why bother asking about other peoples veiw you have already made your mind up. I have to agree with Crafty the Chub Outkasts are the best rods avaliable for the money.

Re: daiwa

Mark sorry you are right mate you did not start the thread. No need to throw your teddy out of the cot though.
Most manufactures make a vast range of equipment much of it very good and some of it not so good. I have been lucky enough to use the top end diawa reels when I am fishing Basia, Emblem spod and BR5500 all of which I rate very highly. I have also used the old daiwa 4050 reels which are at the lowest end of the value market and altough functional they are far from brilliant.
So In summery it is nice to have your perspective on Daiwa sea fishing tavkle and very relvant it is to you. However the question was regarding Daiwa mission X carp rods and they are like.
Sorry to upset you that is not what this forum is about.
Regards

Re: daiwa

Not used the sea fishing stuff but in the carp world

baitrunners are ruled by shimano big pits are ruled by diawa and shimano - rods are owned by grays/chub, harrison and century

The way it is

Hope you choose wisely

Re: daiwa

Looks like its getting a bit heated here, i bought a mission x 2.75 tc rod and i think its brilliant it catches carp so im happy

and i agree shimano do make the best baitrunners ive got a 8000 re cant fault it
also use a daiwa 4550 baitrunner which has never let me down

when ive got some more pennies ill get a chub outcast

thx for all input

Tony
