Well, TXi's are 120 each so that 240 there, greys platinums drop in at 400 a pair, basia's cheapest ive sen are 280 each so by my calculations works out at 1200 so in my opinion it's worth it but i'd try shopping around just to see if you can get cheaper

Re: good or bad

sorry for the late reply lads, i've been down sandhurst for a few days
it was part the price tag and part the name on the gear thats put me off, i'm not a fan of greys rods, i've owned a set and thought they were cheap tat so straight away i'd dismiss that setup
i'm not a fan of basia reels either, they just look like they are made for tackle tarts to look good but they lack a little bit in practicalities, i prefer infinity reels myself, they are solid, have a proper bait runner facility and are very reliable
the delkims are great, best alarm on the market for sure but £950 for that setup seems a little steep to me

platinum rods aren't that expensive, if you got £200 for a second hand pair you'd be doing very well, maybe £400 for the basias and another £200 for the delks, thats buying separately, together as one lot i'd personally want at least £100 off the total price so by my reckoning that setup is about £250 over the top
of course its always down to the individual, some people might rate platinums and basias and think its worth the money but i don't

Re: good or bad

if your the seller of that setup i'd split it up and put it on ebay as individual lots, its named gear and ebay is the place to sell if you want top dollar
