Miserable old git

I may be a miserable old git, but does it not annoy anyone else, when people join the site, just to peddle there wares and dont make any contribution to the forum.

No mate, you're not a miserable old git, and yes it annoys me that people are signing up to advertise their products and not contributing anything.

Announcement to be made soon regarding this mate, but putting it simply...it's against the rules of the site to post product advertisements (commercial advertising) without prior permission from a site admin/moderator. Posting links to sites/products for non-commercial discussion is allowed but basically signing up just to advertise a product isnt!!!

Tom i know your time is limited mate due to work commitments, maybe you could make someone a super mod to help keep things under control, so its not all down to you? Dont ask me lol i got the time but not the skills.

Koiguchi I often get a Mr angry moment when people also fragrantly Spam their products and services with no discussion with the Forum owners and mod team. It is simply rude and un courteous. If Smart Carping Limited had a website offering quite simply the best carp fishing coaching in the UK I am sure the top coachers on that site would not allow this kind of atrocious behaviours. I am sure Smart carping Limited would ask them politely and professionally in the same way that the coaching is done to stop SPAMMING strait away.

On a serious note as pointed out by Gemo I think we do need to recruit an additional moderator, wont be going super mod but we'll see how that pans out as Vb isnt the easiest forum script to get to grips with, i've even managed to accidentally ban myself before
