Are Rod & Line licenses going up?

I dunno about this but I hear that rod & line licenses are going up this year, dont suppose anyone knows how much they are now? and how far in advance can i renew my license?

licence comes out 1st april each year. until 31st march. normally they go up 50p each year so it would be £24.50 this year..

Hiya all, I've read in the Anglers Mail that at the moment as we all know Licences are £24.50p thats for season 2007-2008 and they are going up as follows..April 2008-2009= £25 Up 50p as normal
April 2009-2010=£26 up a £1
April 2010-1011=£27.up a £1

That was in this weeks copy of Anglers mail....zebs

I'd love to see a report of what the EA actually do with our money, im not saying its wasted but just out of interest to see how much is invested back into areas of fishing that affect us.

yeah I bet not a lot of it was of benefit to carp anglers until KHV made an appearance, by the way i just read that bit about that lake in the news section lets just hope its not KHV thats hit them down
