Hi there, welcome to carp fish forums.

I'm pretty sure Willowbank Fishery is fairly nearby, it's in Kirton in Lindsey North Lincs.

It has carp to 30's and cat's to 60's.

Tickets cost from around £20 up depending on how long you want to fish for.

No problem, glad to help

It's amazing how close you can live to places and not realise. Recently I just found out about a lake that has around 200 carp mid twenties and some 30's, 40's and at least one known to be 50lb plus catfish to 113lb and it's only a 10 minute walk from my house, never even knew it was there.

Re: were to fish big carp in lincolnshire??

hey tom, lol i could do with one like that.. i found a few places like that localy but they have waiting lists as they are private membership only, i found a good tench pond 15 min drive away but its a hard pond to fish and as many rules that mean most popular baits carnt be used.

never mind always on the look for my next venue, not had a chance to try that one at kirton yet but about to have two weeks off work soon so plan to try it then, i will be sure to let you know how i get on...

Hey Thaine, I'm looking forward to hearing about how it goes

Be sure to post a review in the venues section

I can totally appreciate what you mean about some venues having lots of different rules. One of the club lakes I fish states amongst other things, no groundbaiting, no particles, no surface fishing, one rod only and they wonder why people go to the other club lakes rather than there. I've also got in the middle of many an argument with the fishery officer of that venue over the groundbaiting thing, chucked in a small (very small) quantity of swetcorn, he said I was groundbaiting, I said loose feed. He argued the point until I went back to the car and got a bag of groundbait mix out and asked him what it was, obviously groundbait was the reply to which point he then realised he was losing the argument and gave up.

The thing is i know it was a very grey area but even so, i know rules are rules but a few grains of corn = half hour argument kinda makes you laugh really.
