You got up a tree looking for fish?

I goto carp lakes now and never see anybody up a tree, where as 4-5 years ago everyone was up one.. infact a lake by me even had ladders up a tree for you to use...I used to do this alot untill i put about 5 stone on and had a fall one day now my fishing buddy want let me climb up them lol...

Is this a practise that has past us by or do you still do it?

I was up the tree on my last session but I agree you don't see many people doing it... In the summer I'm like a monkey lol It's the best way to spot carp on the top

I get up a tree whenever i go because the lake i fish only holds about 50-60 carp so location is paramount.
