Willow Park Today

Me and a mate fished at Willow Park in Ash near Aldershot today. We both blanked and there were almost zero carp caught this weekend on the big lake from what I could gather talking to others around the bank.

I was fishing boilies on a helicopter rig and a running rig using PVA bags on the other rod. I was feeding groundbait with hemp, pellets and crushed boilies.

Lot's of carp were sunbathing and I tried a zig rig with soft pellets on a hair but they just didn't want to know. Has anyone else had much luck lately?

Might try Gold Valley soonish, especially if there is a break in the weather.

You are not alone mate the carp are just off the back of spawning and all the lakes in the Surrey Hampshire Berkshire area are all on a go slow. I would not go the the Sh?? hole Gold valley is mate try a real carp water with nice banks and great fish rather than Gestapo Gold valley the Gazza strip of carp fishing.

Infa what do you need to know mate its a shi? whole no trees or bushes to fish to or behind so the owner can spy on you three pages of rules to follow or get banned and on and on mate just dont go there it the pants. T

I didn't think the rules were that strict, I've seen plenty of other websites with lots more rules tbh. I accept what you are saying about no features and being covered in geese crap though! But spying and getting banned???

Where else would you suggest? I'm definitely open to suggestions about better waters. Especially if they are cheap and near the hants/berks/surrey border area. Definitely going to try Thorpe Lea...do you have any other favourites?

mate Gold valley belongs to my family so I
i would think I now the rules !!!!!. Sorry I know you would not know that but seriously you can do a whole lot better that Gold valley stallag 19.
Cemex Souith lake, Sandhurst etc etc. basigstoke canal my mate went down there and had four carp in four hours and he is a crap angler LOL.

lol, sorry mate, it's just that I don't know any better that's all. I know there are loads of waters in the area but I'm unsure on how to get into them. I'll probably give you a shout for a coaching session when I get some money together anyway.

Sounds good. It's a pain not having any mates that are much into fishing and nobody else to teach me anything. I'm trying to figure it all out from scratch on my own pretty much - so don't have anyone to tell me about or take me to any waters that I don't know about.

Well last time I saw you, it was randomly in Raisons after having been on your website not 30 minutes before. I was thinking of popping into there for some advice on where to go anyhow - I guess you must be in there pretty often anyway?
