hi scotty, i didnt do a whole walk round the place as there was a match on one side but the info i got off the inernet and after speaking to regulars was:-
Drayton Reservoir
off the A361
Daventry
Northamptonshire
Tel: 07889 532563 for Geoff the bailiff (8.00am - 6.00pm)
Tel: 01132 816895 for up-to-date information 24/7
approx 75 acres, and ranges in depth from 7ft to 30ft the dam wall been the deeps.
there is a very large stock of carp average size 12-14lb with a large number of 20+ and apparantly a 40lb had been recorded.
the place is very match orientated as pegs are close together and do not have much space for casting etc.
im sure there are a range of pegs on the opposite side to the dam wall where there is more space, from late 2007 they have started to allow night fishing (book in advance).
in the warmer months the bagging waggler and method fishing is the way.

i think when the weather improves this will be a great place to go for a day session when a bend in the rod is really in need!! (tho im obviously havin a few bad sessions of recent wherever i go.lol)
hope this was ok scotty
