Elsham Fishing Pond Lincolnshire

Can anyone give me directions? I have read Zebs post regarding this pond but cant seem to find it?

Went there yesterday alot of fish being caught although small ones, i only had one run but a new pb of 16 lb....But can i buggery try and explain how to get there i think its down the hill first right then first left and then i cant remember if it's left again or straight on for 50 yds then left if you keep looking left its down a short track, sorry if that's confusing but hopefully i.m going next week end we could meet at the Petrol station or somewhere if u like, let me know.....zebs

i have had a look on google earth and cant seem to see it. i am fishing at swan lake next weekend but any time after that if i am not working would be good.

I'm thinking of going tomorrow, so if you want to meet up i should be there around 9:30 ish, if not we'll have to arrange something..Might give OASIS at North sommercoats a go next week end, i'll give them a ring in the week and get the goss, will let you know how i get on.......zebs

Hey

I have the weekend off and i fancy a fishing trip. I fished Saltfleetby and had 12 carp on the top. so if your not busy i would like to give Elsham a go. I think i have found it on Google Earth does it have more than one pond? If you go to Google Maps then enter 53.600260, -0.439861 in the search bar i think this is the place. Let me know if your up for it. And what kinda bait and tackle i should try.

Yes M8, there are 3 main ponds, the far one holds th bigger Carp, up to 30lbs so the owner says, the middle one has Carp to 19.5lbs, i've fished them both, not many bites, although i've not blanked yet, but give it time, the bottom is very silty so it's chod rigs,although you will catch on a bottom rig, they like the usual, Corn, Luncheon Meat, Pepperami, plus boilies all worth a go, but yes we'll go sometime, the next time i'm free is weekend after next, that's bank Holiday, so we'll have to arrange a meet. It's quite easy to find ...Down the hill into the Village left fork at the top of the hill , next Right, First left up the Road about 100yds and the Fishery is set back on your Left, But we can meet up if you like......zebs

Just thought i would let everyone know Ken who owned this place for many years has now sold up and new owners have taken over not been back since he left last week so dont know if anything has changed hopefully it will nice place but just overcrowded etc etc.If you are coming from over the bridge just come off the bridge and follow the road all the way down til you hit the roundabout go all the way round and turn left just after the garage follow that road go down the very steep hill be careful there cause its very steep when at bottom of there take first right then first left follow the road round and just on the bend there is a turning left(track at side of house)you will see the gates.
