Im off to evesham vale on saturday for a 24hour bash... any body fished it before? got any tips?

I have been asked by the owner to be the official coach for the lake. In dicsussion he said the carp are mainly found at range on the far bank(Golf course side) so i would recommend a helicopter rig small PVA bags of 2mm &4mm pellets and a small very bright bait.

How does the place fish during the Winter?

Apparently well, its FUlly loaded just the weather condition whr well off our side, 70mph winds just blowing our bait around the bottom far to easily...

iv fished evesham a few times now over the last few months and apart from one extremely cold occasion and down pegs 3&4 always landed a few, never anything big mind you but still had a nice few bends in the rods, wil also be going last weekend in january.

tips:- get on pegs between 18-28, very little action in the lower pegs at the moment.

very small pva bags of chopped boilies with a chopped boilie on hookbait and fish just passed half way otherwise single hookbait over the far bank. these have worked for me.
