Free Waters

Ok so we all think its free you get what you pay for.......... True, I think not, some of the best local waters to me are free, holding some fantastic big carp. For example a little 2.5 achre lake called the deep hole (due to its 30ft+ depth) is totally free due to insurance problems of over head pillons. The lake hold a good head of carp mainly 20's up to 42Lbs, and a good head of pike, other fish also include big tench and the odd orph.

Don't turn ya nose at a waters thats free, it may bring a great session.

What other peoples views?

Re: Free Waters

I totally agree. Even though i have no free waters near me tha hold carp. I have got a few day ticket waters that hold a good head of carp at decent sizes for a bargin price of 3 pounds for 24 hours.
