A great carp fishing holiday

New here so hello everyone.
I recently went on a carp fishing holiday at Smallwater lake in France with my girlfriend and thought everybody should know what they are doing there. Apart from being a very well stocked lake with the best accommodation I have stayed in on any fishery the owners are donating money to cancer research for every kilo of fish that is caught from their lake. We managed to catch enough carp, bream & tench for them to donate £23 to Cancer research Uk during our one week holiday. I think it's a fantastic thing when you can go fishing & help towards a charity. I also had a new pb of 22lbs, I know its not huge but it's my first twenty after four years of carp fishing.

Thanks for the welcome.
Going to go back there this summer & try for a really big one, there are carp in the lake over 50 lbs. So fingers crossed.
