Hiya my name is Alan(zebs) and i live in Cleethorpes i have been fishing since i was 7 and i'm now 52, But i am totally new to Carp fishing, I am as keen as they come and am looking forward to learning all i can so don't be shy with tips cos i'll be asking lots of questions, in fact you'll probably be sick of me asking but it's the only way to learn, and as i say i know next to nothing only what i read in the mags....Regards..zebs

Thanks Tom, As i said i can't get enough info at the moment, and i can't wait to go fishing, but it'll take me a couple of weeks to get my gear together,, so in teh mean time i;ll be on the site and reading....zebs

![]() Have you got any lakes in mind yet to target? i've been looking at one of our club lakes for this year called Barleylands which is totally featureless and well renowned as being the most difficult club lake with bites few and far between even though its quite well stocked, so im thinking that there must be a solution to it, its just im yet to find it and its rumoured to hold 30's
