Well said Wade... get used to the kit you've got, get your rigs tied properly and confidence in a bait, before driving round the country chasing a 30lber.
As you'll see from my blog, I'm still after my first 20lber, and I've been carp fishing about 8-9 months now, but I know it'll come, it's not that I'm not catching, but I'm not fishing "easy" commerical waters that hold an abundance of them.
