Hi all

my name is Tony and i live in chepstow ,i thought i would say hello because ive been going through your articles its been a good bit of reading.

I tend to fish for carp , normally at Grange springs near Trelleck my PB is 14lb 9
i hope to better this at pavyotts mill where im going on the 12th aug for a 24 hour session..

Hi Mate
Just a quick wod of warning Paviots Mill has had a bad outbreak of KHV. I am not sure of the numebrs of fish fatalities. I understand the lake is still open for fishing.

I would just be very carefull. Maybe it might be an idea to go to Todber Manor and Fish the Matt Hayes lake you are bound to do a PB there.

thx for the info i spoke the the chap who runs pavyotts mill and he said that only the maze lake has been affected i was thinking of fishing josh's pool which is clear of khv but saying that todber manor looks a lovely fishery

so me thinks ill go there instead

Talk to the people in the shop at Todber they will definatly give you the heads up as to how its fishing and what bait is working. Mntion Ian Gemson from Smart carping for me . Thanks mate let us all know how you get on.
