Thanks for letting us in. Elmer & Mar-e
New to the European Carp scene. However we do well in the US. I hale from Rockland, Massachusetts, but have roots in the Liverpool area where my great grandfather came from. My wife and I are avid carpers here and also write a fisherman's website that features our carp escapades. We sell nothing and ask for nothing but information about European Carp fishing. We are members of CAG in the US.
We fish where ever we go and we hope to meet some of you if you come across the pond to the Boston area. We will show you some good spots while you are here. |

Re: Thanks for letting us in. Elmer & Mar-e
Hi there welcome to carpfish
![]() Its always good to hear how our friend from across the pond are doing, and I'd really like to hear more about the carp scene in the US. Is carp angling as commercialised in the US as it is in the UK? Tom |

Re: Thanks for letting us in. Elmer & Mar-e
We are planning a fishin in Haverhill MA on Nov. 7, 2009.
We fish for carp where ever we go. I'm restricked still or I would publish our website. It's a site for the average bloke like myself. There are many stories of carp fishing the eastern US to be found there. Plus all types of fishing are presented too. I'll be glad when I can publish pictures. Thanks for the welcome. |

Re: Thanks for letting us in. Elmer & Mar-e
We can get him started on a new carp career soon as possible. There are many carp waters in the Boston area. My wife and I are holding a tournament just north of Boston on Nov. 7, 2009 in the tidal section of the Merrimac River. Tell him to come on by. Since I can't publish my website yet. Look up Bite Me Bait Co or Carp Anglers Group the New England Section. They even have a UK section.

Re: Thanks for letting us in. Elmer & Mar-e
not having a dig, but might be worth telling the good lady not to stand when holding fish.
its so easy to spill them and if that happens when standing you will have dead carp on your hands mate. remember there used to being supported by water, the slightest knock on the bank can be leathal to a carp. |
